Met Phillip working at Emmanuel church when he joined our staff team bringing a wise , steady and financial hand to a nervy ship . His warmth, encouragement and wry smile was infectious. Never overbearing always quietly caring in deep ways beyond the all too common mateyness employed by so many. His managerial and financial skills enabled us to achieve way beyond what we could have hoped for young people living on the edge in Northampton. Loyal to the end and so proud of his family and especially Julie's ministries. We shall miss Phillip very much . Rest in peace brother. Jez Safford
